HPLC Determination of Tramadol in Human Plasma and Urine Samples with FlipLC system
May 2, 2019
FlipLC™ is an alternative method to avoid the interference of most of the contaminants by the use of an isolation column and a high pressure switching valve before the separation column. This method allows sample cleaning and analyte separation in one automated process. The isolation column and the separation column should have orthogonal retention characteristics to operate efficiently in this setup. Mixed-mode columns with reverse phase and ion-exchange characteristics were used in this analysis.

HPLC Method for Analysis of Tramadol
May 3, 2016
Tramadol is a narcotic analgesic used to manage severe pain. It is a synthetic codeine analogue. The way it works is similar to opioids, such as morphine and codeine due to it acting on specific opioid receptors. An overdose on the drug can cause acute liver failure.Tramadol, also known as Ultram and other brand names, is a synthetic opiate used to treat moderate to severe pain. The painkilling effects of Tramadol last for about 6 hours. Primesep 200, a reverse phase column, contains embedded acidic ionizable groups and can retain Tramadol. The method is UV compatible and can be used as a general approach for analyzing similar compounds.
