HPLC Method for Analysis of Methiocarb on Newcrom B Column on Alltesta™

HPLC Method for Methiocarb on Newcrom B by SIELC Technologies

High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Method for Analysis of Methiocarb

Methiocarb is a carbamate pesticide with the chemical formula C11H15NO2S. It works as a acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. It has been in use as an insecticide, bird repellent, acaricide, and molluscicide since 1960s.

Methiocarb can be retained and analyzed using the Newcrom B stationary phase column. The analysis utilizes an isocratic method with a simple mobile phase consisting of water and acetonitrile (MeCN) with ammonium formate as a buffer. Detection is performed using UV.
