High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Method for Analysis of Sunset Yellow (Yellow 6).

Sunset yellow (yellow 6) is a dye used in food, cosmetics and drugs. In the US, it has an acceptable daily intake of 3.75mg/kg. It can be retained on HPLC mixed-mode Newcrom BH column with a mobile phase of methanol (MeOH) and water with sulfuric acid (H2SO4) buffer. Vis detection at 480nm
