HPLC Method for Analysis of Sodium 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropane-1-sulfonate on Newcrom BH

HPLC Method for Sodium 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropane-1-sulfonate on Newcrom BH by SIELC Technologies

High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Method for Analysis of Sodium 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropane-1-sulfonate.

Sodium 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropane-1-sulfonate is an anionic agent with the chemical formula C3H6ClNaO4S. It is used to prepare negatively charged probe particles to investigate the nanoporosity of cellulosic fibers and their interactions with cationic polyelectrolytes.

Sodium 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropane-1-sulfonate can be retained and analyzed using the Newcrom BH stationary phase column. The analysis utilizes an isocratic method with a simple mobile phase consisting of water and acetonitrile (MeCN) with a sulfuric acid buffer. Detection is performed using UV.
