HPLC Method for Analysis of Acetyl-coenzyme A (acetyl-CoA) on Chromni Column

HPLC Method for Analysis of Acetyl-coenzyme A on Chromni Column by SIELC Technologies

High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Method for Analysis of Acetyl-coenzyme A.

Acetyl-coenzyme A, also known as Acetyl-CoA, is the a molecule with the chemical formula C23H38N7O17P3S. It mainly participates in biochemical reactions responsible for protein, carbohydrate, and lipid metabolism. It’s main function is to deliver the acetyl group to the Krebs cycle for energy production. The discovery of that linked this molecule to metabolism was awarded a Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

Acetyl-coenzyme A can be retained and analyzed using the Chromni stationary phase column. The analysis utilizes a gradient method with a simple mobile phase consisting of water and acetonitrile (MeCN). Detection is performed using LC MS.
