High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Method of Trimellitic anhydride.
Trimellitic anhydride is a trifunctional, highly reactive aromatic anhydride. It is used as a curing agent for epoxy and other resins; in vinyl plasticizers, paints, coatings, dyes, pigments and a wide variety of other manufactured products. Trimellitic Anhydride can be retained in HPLC with a Newcrom BH mixed-mode column using a mobile phase of acetonitrile (ACN) and water and Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4) buffer allowing the use of a UV detector at 210 nm.

Newcrom BH
The Newcrom columns are a family of reverse-phase-based columns. Newcrom A, AH, B, and BH are all mixed-mode columns with either positive or negative ion-pairing groups attached to either short (25 Å) or long (100 Å) ligand chains. Newcrom R1 is a special reverse-phase column with low silanol activity.
