HPLC Method for Stearyl methacrylate on Newcrom R1 by SIELC Technologies
High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Method for Analysis of Stearyl methacrylate.
Stearyl methacrylate is used for manufacturing adhesives, plastics, sealants, and coatings as well as an oil additive for viscosity adjustments. It may be an irritant to skin and eyes at contact. It has the chemical formula C22H42O2.
Stearyl methacrylate can be retained in HPLC on Newcrom R1 column using anhydrous conditions with the mobile phase consisting of methanol (MeOH) and acetonitrile (ACN) with no buffer necessary. The analysis method is MS-compatible and can also be UV detected at 230nm
