High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Method for Analysis of Phenethyl alcohol.

Phenethyl alcohol is used in a variety of essential oils and soaps for its pleasant odor and antibiotic properties.

It can be retained on HPLC mixed-mode Newcrom BH column using a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile (ACN) and water with sulfuric acid (H2SO) buffer. UV detection at 200nm.
