Separation type: Liquid Chromatography Mixed-mode
High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Method for Analysis of Escitalopram
Escitalopram is a type of antidepressant known as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. It is used to restore serotonergic function in the treatment of depression and anxiety. Escitalopram helps many people recover from depression. It can be retained on Primesep SB, a reverse-phase (RP) mixed-mode column with embedded strong basic ion-pairing groups, using an isocratic analytical method with a simple mobile phase of water, acetonitrile (MeCN, ACN), and sulphuric acid (H2SO4) buffer. UV detection at 240 nm.
