High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Method for Analysis of Diethylentriamine
Diethylenetriamine, also denoted as dien or DETA, is an organic compound with the chemical formula HN(CH2CH2NH2)2. It is primarily used in as a curing agent for epoxy resins.
Diethylentriamine can be retained and analyzed using the Primesep 500 stationary phase column. The analysis utilizes an isocratic method with a simple mobile phase consisting of water and acetonitrile (MeCN) with a sulfuric acid as a buffer. Detection is performed using ELSD.
*LOD was determined for this combination of instrument, method, and analyte, and it can vary from one laboratory to another even when the same general type of analysis is being performed.
SIELC Technologies usually develops more than one method for each compound. Therefore, this particular method may not be the best available method from our portfolio for your specific application.
