The Alltesta™ compact ultra high-pressure Mini Syringe Pump is designed to produce a steady, high pressure, pulsation-free flow. For years, reciprocating, multi-plunger devices have dominated the solvent delivery pump sector in HPLC. These pumps, however, are complex, expensive, and lack reliability. Furthermore, with the proliferation of small-bore columns, the need for continuous, unlimited flow has diminished. Now, a miniature syringe-based pump can provide sufficient amounts of mobile phase for nearly any narrow- and small-bore application. Since syringe-flow is inherently pulsation free, there is no need for bulky dampeners, mixers, and precision check valve arrangements. The proprietary design of SIELC’s mini HPLC pump takes advantage of this pulsation-free flow, and also removes the need to degas the mobile phase.
This compact miniature syringe pump can refill prior to each injection in less than a minute, and can reach a flow rate of up to 4000 μL/min or down to 1 μL/min. This means that many injections can be completed in relatively quick succession.
When connected together to the Alltesta™ Power Tower, two pumps can provide a high-pressure, mixing, precision gradient flow with zero delay volume. All of these features and more are packed into this small syringe pump.
The mini pump also features communications capability for integration with other instrumentation through the USB virtual serial port.
> Built in pressure transducer
> Pulse free operation without pressure dampener
> No vibration or noise
> Fast refill time
> Accurate flow down to 1.0µL/min
> Zero dead volume
> Two pumps form a gradient high pressure mixing system
> No degasser needed
The Mini Syringe Pump can be controlled remotely through the HPLC.cloud or directly via our custom OEM software or via Serial commands. The Mini Syringe Pump can only connect to the cloud through the Alltesta™ Power Tower. Every purchase of the Alltesta™ Power Tower includes a free subscription to HPLC.cloud.
