SIELC Presents: Cyralis™ Chiral HPLC Column

SIELC Presents: Cyralis™ Chiral Family HPLC Columns

SIELC Technologies introduces the Cyralis™ family of columns designed for chiral HPLC, featuring two polysaccharide-based stationary phases: Cyralis™ CM and Cyralis™ AM.

Cyralis™ CM is based on cellulose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) physically coated onto silica, while Cyralis™ AM uses amylose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) coated onto silica. The two polysaccharide selectors provide different selectivities for chiral separations, offering greater flexibility in method development.

Developed in-house using SIELC’s proprietary technology, the Cyralis™ family represents SIELC’s entry into the chiral chromatography market, with full method development and troubleshooting services available.

Cyralis™ columns can be used for the separation of neutral, acidic, and basic chiral compounds, including pharmaceuticals, pesticides, fungicides, and insecticides. They are suitable for multiple chromatographic modes, including normal phase (NP), reversed phase (RP), HILIC, and polar organic (PO) conditions.

In addition to resolving enantiomeric pairs, Cyralis™ columns can separate more complex stereoisomeric mixtures of molecules containing multiple stereocenters. The polysaccharide selectors are also sensitive to temperature changes, allowing temperature to be used as an additional parameter for optimizing chiral methods.
