Solid-Core Primesep SB is a reverse-phase analytical solid-core column with strong embedded basic ion-pairing groups. It contains a C18 carbon chain and basic quaternary amine groups.
It provides the following capabilities:
– Enhances retention of acidic compounds through anion-exchange mechanism.
– Separates hydrophobic basic molecules using a combination of ion-exclusion and reverse-phase mechanism.
– Retains neutral compounds by reverse-phase mechanism.
– Offers mobile phases suitable for LC-MS and preparative chromatography, as well as low UV detection (working pH range from 1.5 to 5).
