Separation type: Liquid Chromatography Mixed-mode
Folic acid can be retained in HPLC using a Newcrom BH mixed-mode column by using a mobile phase of acetonitrile (ACN) and water with Ammonium Formate (AmFm) as a buffer allowing the use of either UV or MS detector. Folic acid, vitamin B9, is an essential vitamin that’s used by the body to metabolise amino acids. Vitamin B-9 is a crucial prenatal vitamin. It supports cell growth, DNA synthesis, and red blood cell production. It also helps your body use iron properly.

Application Column
Newcrom BH
The Newcrom columns are a family of reverse-phase-based columns. Newcrom A, AH, B, and BH are all mixed-mode columns with either positive or negative ion-pairing groups attached to either short (25 Å) or long (100 Å) ligand chains. Newcrom R1 is a special reverse-phase column with low silanol activity.
